Working for the Missouri State Patrol as an investigator, Luke returns to his hometown to solve these teenage girl disappearances only to realize that he is captivated by the new high school teacher who seems to have a knack for people confiding in her. Together, they delve into this web of lies and deceit, only to realize that the truth is sometimes nastier than fiction.
